Howard S. Brown

Chairman

Howard Brown started his real estate career a bit earlier than most. While still in his teens, he spent summers running construction crews on local projects. After graduating from the University of Maryland, Howard put his ideas and experience to work in the family real estate business. What began as a small one–man shop now employs more than 150 people, has working arrangements with more than 50 contractors and ranks as one of the top three real estate development firms in the Mid Atlantic region.

Lee N. Sachs

General Counsel

After spending more than 30 years in a law firm, with real estate matters being one of his areas of concentration, Lee Sachs joined David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD. in August, 1999. His duties include guiding the Company and its officers on legal matters; coordinating the activities of outside law firms that represent the Company from time to time; and management responsibilities regarding the administrative functions of the Company.

Manuel (Mendy) Greenfield, CPA

Financial Officer

As a certified public accountant in the state of Maryland, Mendy Greenfield has more than 30 years experience in both the local and international real estate markets. Since 1994, Mr. Greenfield has been the Chief Financial Officer of David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD. responsible for coordinating all financial reporting & tax compliance , as well as analyzing prospective investments, financing and other analysis of properties.

Lynn E. Abeshouse, SIOR
Abeshouse Partners

Lynn Abeshouse is the Managing Principal of Abeshouse Partners, a commercial real estate brokerage firm that exclusively represents David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD.’s entire real estate portfolio. A 16-year veteran of the Baltimore commercial real estate industry, her expertise includes both Landlord and Tenant representation, site selection, financial analysis, lease and contract negotiation, and commercial real estate sales.

Monique S. Heath
Sales & Marketing Manager

Monique Heath joined David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD. in 1997, bringing with her a savvy mix of sales, as well as management expertise. Both those talents have been brought to bear in developing marketing and sales strategies for David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD. Ms. Heath’s proven ability to motivate and manage her sales teams have resulted in more than $63M in new home sales.

Ellen Highfill
Human Resources Director

Ellen Highfill has been an integral part of David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD. since 1977. During her 27 year career with the company, Ms. Highfill has learned the business from the ground up and today, as Human Resources Director, is one of the reasons why the working experience at David S. Brown Enterprises is such a positive one.

Craig Rosenthal
Construction Division Director

A twenty-five year veteran of the Baltimore/Washington construction industry, Craig Rosenthal is responsible for over three million square feet of new construction and redevelopment at David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD. Involved in all aspects of the project from initial design and construction to interior tenant improvements, Craig manages and supervises a staff of fifteen in-house employees and several in-house subcontracting crews, as well as hundreds of outside construction contractors.

Nathan “Nick” Sachs
Manager of Commercial Facilities

Nick Sachs joined David S. Brown Enterprises, Ltd in 1996, after having worked in property management for nearly 10 years, and oversees the day to day operations of all commercial properties. His responsibilities include management of the Maintenance Division and several in-house service groups. In addition, he is involved with the DSB mechanical and electrical design team the goal of which is to ensure our buildings are built with efficiency and comfort at the forefront.
