Description:
Metro Centre at Owings Mills is an eclectic mix of residential, office and retail venues within the only transit-oriented development in Baltimore. The project includes the new Public County Library and Baltimore Community College and is directly adjacent to the Owings Mills Metro Station.
Designed to combine old-fashioned charm with trendsetting excitement, evoking images of small town main street of yesteryear, all within a pedestrian-friendly live-work-play environment that encourages the use of public transportation and existing infrastructure.
Five structured parking garages will serve the entire Metro Centre project within direct access to all amenities for employees, residents, and visitors. The first garage was delivered in 2007. Delivery date is Spring 2013 for Phase I.
Metro Centre includes over 1.2 million square feet of Class A office space, 1700 residential units, over 330,000 square feet of dining destinations and retail shops with significant signage and up to 250 hotel rooms.
280,000 square feet of loft style Class A office space will be developed along Main Street over first floor retail space in Phase I. The Class A single or multi-tenant high rise office building is designed for a total of 240,000 square feet, large floor plates with major signage visibility adjacent to I-795 and the Metro.
The north side of the Metro Station will be developed with four - five Class A office buildings in a corporate campus setting. The north campus office park will support a total of 680,000 square feet with adjacent free garage parking and 13,500 square feet of supporting retail with direct access to all of Metro’s amenities.
